During your vacation, whether you join us for one day, three days or a full week, you’ll participate in daily afternoon cooking classes that celebrate food and the land it comes from. Each season presents a unique feast of opportunity in the kitchen. Using local and seasonal ingredients, you’ll cook with the best food the land has to offer. In the fall, olives, almonds, mushrooms and squash. In winter, the tangy gifts of lemon and citrus. Spring’s bounty of fennel, eggplant and all the many varieties of tomatoes. In summer, the figs, capers, oregano and basil. All kissed by the Sicilian sun.
Guess who’s coming for dinner?
We set the standard for ‘living the Sicilian culture” by inviting local friends to join our evening meal. Translators provide the necessary insights to make this a true cultural experience for all so that no one is left out. Often, the laughter and conversation of these communal meals last late into the night as guests discover new friends and experience new culinary delights.
